TNCC 1-Day Renewal Returns!
Nurses with current TNCC verification now have the option to spend less time in the classroom when it’s time to
renew. Prepare on your own time, then review and test in class.
The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the
American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
The Emergency Nurses Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2322.
SEVENTH EDITION
Until now, the instructor course had received only minor
updates over the years, she said, but ENA thought it was time to
split the learning theory and in-person practice into separate
formats and days.
Study Components
The Instructor Path has no printed manual. The slides, skill
station checklists and instructor’s guide are digital and will be
revised as needed. Materials can be printed or downloaded for
review on a computer or mobile device. In addition, 2-to-3-
minute videos of teaching demonstrations are included. ENPC
has 11 videos, and TNCC has 10.
“We felt the instructors needed more hands-on tools,” Gurney
said, “and visuals really help the learner to understand the
concept. Pictures are worth a thousand words.”
More features will be added on an ongoing basis, and feedback
is always welcome from instructors and prospective instructors
so the course can evolve to meet their needs. n
Emergency nurses with ideas for enhancing the new
components should email
